Shadowman
by Baz Dedhevan
There's a vision of you upon my wall
I frame the faces that I applaud
And I collected scars, like you saved Grace
Like a man at war, in a different place... somewhere on the outside
From time to time
She sighs for me
I'm just a shadow of the man I used to be
From time to time
She cries for me
I'm just a shadow of the man I used to be...
...becoming
...becoming, the Shadowman
With the poison in her eyes that she don't need
There's a vision of you watching over me
And a conversation with the holy ghost
Can never replace the ones that matter most... to me, on the inside
There's a time I once knew, but it's long gone
And a man I once knew, who turned to 'wrong'
In his desperation, he fell apart
With a Shadowman lurking in his heart... black dog in heart
And every time she walks through that door
She takes a piece of me
But I've taken her through every door
All 3...
