Food allotments spoil
Treasuries turn red
Sleep with one eye open
The Koran by your bed

The promise of rebirth
Clearing heart and head
A concubine redeemer
Subduing doubt and dread

Muhammad's drawing near
With pabulum and cheer
Insurgent dirty bombers
Rend the desert air

A supplication consummation
Beyond the morning prayer
A detonation celebration
Hallowing despair

Retaliation, vindication
After all is done and said
Bloody water overboils
Life hangs by a thread
