Toy
by Nevada Kerr
I'm your human toy
More machine than boy
Your strung out puppet coy
Under lock and key
The football at your feet
The pack of nonsense you buy cheap
Your play pretty fling
On a bone brittle string
A fractured naked thing
The sordid sport of kings
I'm the dolly decoy
The object you destroy
I live to be your tender pawn
Your bauble, dusk to dawn
I dare not say my soul's my own
At the mercy of your nightmares
The frightfully cloying boy
Sleeps, crawls, and prays
And falls prey to your grievous ploys
