NEBULA NINE
by Nevada Kerr
There's a sun on every corner
Average in the barren dark
On this side of Specter Park
A falling star informer
I don't mind the half moon sky
Anything to change the view
If that's good enough for you
We'd do pretty well to die
Or conforming to the letter
In a sexy fleshless mode
Without a map or goad
We could go on forever
It was easy to leave Earth behind
For another slave state satellite
Where robot hands turn off the night
And chart the limits of the human mind
