RED TOWN REVELS
by Nevada Kerr
Love's a gaming tease
I've been fooled by all her bluffs
You start out with a lucky squeeze
Before the final crush
I thought I knew my stuff
But I was easily deceived
I never said I liked it rough
But she swore to God she'd leave
She had her eye on every slot
Random long shots in the dark
Then she went for broke on a lark
In the casino parking lot
It was nothing like the movie
Running in my head
She's confessing sweet endearments
And I'm shackled to the hotel bed
What little did I learn
When she led her merry chase
I wiggled and I squirmed
But I still became her bait
