VOYEUR
by Nevada Kerr
Today I'm not myself
I decided to be someone else
I'd be glad to share the inside story
The graphic details and the glory
I'm having the time of my life
On a virtual boardwalk with my digital wife
She comes and goes on my computer screen
A broken but recurrent dream
I surf and browse and scrutinize
Perplexed, possessed, preoccupied
I touch her face on a blog in space
Specks and spots and dots I trace
As long as I stay connected
I'll always feel complete
With all my private thoughts inspected
I very rarely sleep
We harmonize and synchronize
Every phase and shading
The perfect look, an explicit pose
And with a click we're mating
