CIPHERS
by Nevada Kerr
Here I am, I'm over here
In the undivided whole
These particles, they still adhere
But they're nothing you can hold
Not so human anymore
But now I'm everywhere
A fragment of a memory
So practical and near
Compatible, consensual
In phases I suppose
The very thing I need right now
I'm improvising clothes
Contact at the right time
In a place somewhere in space
I've got a name, I'm in my prime
I'm putting on a face
We don't get along, that's true
Our flesh was too exposed
But all the thoughts I sent to you
Were circuits that you chose
