GOOD FELLOW

I caught a glimpse of impish Puck
That tragic-comic sprite
Mock heroic in the muck
Tumbling in delight
Shameless and rollicking
And rolling on the ground
The satyr king rejoicing
And giggling like a clown
Motley fool and harlequin
Urchin god at play
The reveller who dares to win
Gambling night and day
Without regret or doubt
Spins the wheel of fate
Firm and undestroyed
And never out of date
And sometimes in the mirror
Immortal Pan laments
Grieving for this era
Of greed and discontent
