There's no excuse for your behavior
Though deliverance takes time
Confessing lies without a savior
Won't redeem your life of crime

How can you justify your deeds
When only evil actions follow
You try your best to make amends
But all your words ring hollow

Like a media whore on an apology tour
You plead for my forgiveness
With an alibi for every bribe
And enough guilt to run a business

You shook off pride and shame
But you'll never live this down
You ruined my good name
Left me gagged and bound

You sacrificed our son and daughter
Took back everything you said
I heard you set your house in order
But you can't bring back the dead
