WITH A VENGEANCE
by Nevada Kerr
He was lonely to the core
Woebegone and blue
When the first one fell he swore
His lonely life was through
He had to bump them off
They took him for a ride
He lost his one true love
And then he lost his pride
He shot them one by one
They didn't have a prayer
He wasn't having fun
But by then he didn't care
It was murder door to door
Life never seemed so dear
They scrambled to the floor
Blood and bullets everywhere
He started out with two
So why not thirty more
He had to see it through
Like the rich who kill the poor
The world will never know
Why so many had to die
Was a massacre his only goal
Is he happy on the other side
