I was just a bit unsettled
Never thought I'd come unhinged
I started out befuddled
Now all I do is cringe

I was giddy, turning color
In a lather, so you've heard
Shaking like a strung out lover
Trembling like a bird

Something got me going
Something touched a chord
All agog and glowing
How could I be bored

In the chaos I unraveled
For the first time I was free
I had reached another level
Far down inside of me

Beyond a god or devil
Older than the sea
Where truth and reason turn to drivel
Shattering belief
