The Amateur-Adept postpones your induction.

He never submits to your wishes.

He leaves you waiting until some condition is satisfied.

He puts off the toy but keeps the mask on!

To Put Off:

1) to hold back to a later time.
2) to induce to wait.
3) to spend (a period of time) away from (us the fans to work on even newer material for other albums).
4) to sell or pass fraudulently (countless versions of the song 'Seven').
5) and last but not least (to release the album).

The Player throws you into confusion and disturbs your composure.

He is an aimless and incessant chatterer (on BNet), a Scandalmonger and a RUMORMONGER.

He habitually retails sensational and often inaccurate information.

The Player is a Carrytale and an Intermeddler who tampers with and manipulates the truth!

The Player like the Dabbler is an Investigator tracking/tracing the vestiges, the shadows, the relics, the mementoes of bygone futures and the novel past.

Every toy he finds (in strange corners of his mind) and discards is a Telltale, a Scintilla reflecting a brainstorm of sound and vision, of wit and wisdom, but not an iota of fact.

The Player is a Card.

The Card - The Wild Joker.

And sometimes he's the Butt of the Joke.

But The Player is always Exempt from factual fictions and fictional facts.

He is both priveleged (favored among his true fans) and dis-carded (overlooked by foolish/fickle top - forty fanatics).
